Prime Minister Abiy Confers with President of Angola

Addis Ababa, March 13, 2025 (ENA)— Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held discussions with President João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço of Angola.

“Our discussions provided a valuable opportunity to explore bilateral issues, and in his new role as Chair of the African Union, we also addressed key continental and multilateral matters,” PM Abiy shared on social media pages.

President Lourenço who is also the Chairperson of the African Union, attended the official handing over ceremony between the outgoing and incoming Chairpersons and Commissioners of the African Union Commission today.
