Entrepreneur Rene Murata of RISK, Inc. and CEO Essence to be Featured on CUTV News Radio

I believe that life is about understanding that your power has always been there and how to use it.”
— Rene Murata

SPRING, TEXAS, UNITED STATES, June 7, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Rene Murata is true facilitator in every sense of the word. Whether it’s the safety and security of the people working in potentially hazardous conditions or coaching women leaders to draw on their intuitive healing selves, Murata is motivated by a desire to use her extensive expertise to help others.

“Facilitation is a unique skill among leaders,” says Murata. “It requires wearing multiple hats and changing those hats as you go. Sometimes you’re the teacher, sometimes you’re the student, but helping others has always been the underlying theme of all my work”

Murata, an entrepreneur, is the founder of RISK, Inc., a process safety consulting firm serving the gas, oil, chemicals and petrochemicals industries. RISK (Risk, Integrity, Safety, Knowledge) helps companies that work with hazardous chemicals to develop the necessary internal policies and procedures in Process Safety Management (PSM) required of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

“The companies we work with want to go above and beyond regulatory compliance,” says Murata. “We help them understand the recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP) and then we can help them identify what solutions are appropriate.”

Murata has since expanded RISK, Inc. to Sao Paolo, Brazil, an emerging market in the gas, oil, chemicals, and petrochemicals industries. And with her language skills in Portuguese and Spanish, RISK, Inc. is uniquely positioned in the South American market.

Murata describes herself as an “enlightened” rather than “empowered.”

“I’ve never felt that I had my power taken away,” says Murata. “I believe that life is about understanding that your power has always been there and how to use it.”

Today, Murata is committed to facilitating the next generation of women with CEO Essence, a coaching practice for emerging women business leaders.

“I think most books on how to be a CEO or how to be a good manager are geared toward men, primarily because most CEOs are men,” says Murata. “I’ve always been one of those women who people consistently seem to come to for guidance and support in a variety of arenas, especially business. I believe that I can help women develop their CEO 'voice.' For women to succeed in developing a CEO’s mindset in any business, they need to start by understanding that you don’t work for someone, you work with someone. If they can shift that mindset, that can change a lot.”

CUTV News Radio will feature Rene Murata in an interview with Jim Masters on June 9th and June 23rd at 1pm EDT and with Doug Llewely on June 16th at 1pm EDT.
